MEEN MUTTA THORAN/ FISH ROE IN COCONUT


INGREDIENTS

Fish Eggs / Fish Roe - 250 gm (can be any fish eggs)
Grated Coconut - 1/2 cup
Green Chilly - 2 chopped
Shallots - 8-10,sliced
Curry Leaves - 1 sprig
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Chilly Powder - 1 tsp
Pepper Powder - 1/2 t spoon
Salt - To taste
Coconut Oil - 1 table spoon

PREPARATION
Clean and slice the fish eggs.
Heat a pan and add coconut oil.
Add shallots, chopped green chillies and saute well.
Add salt, turmeric powder, chilly powder and mix well.
Add sliced fish eggs and mix well.
Add grated coconut, mix well and cover the pan with a lid and allow to cook for 2-3 minutes
Sprinkle black pepper powder and garnish with curry leaves.
